The Rocky Mount Housing Authority is seeking a qualified individual for a key management position to perform highly responsible administrativework in developing and delivering a broad range of counseling and referral services for low-income residents to help them move toward self-sufficiency, thereby reducing their need for subs dized programs and services. Responsible for overseeing the development of grant funds, locationof potential funding sources, compliance and performing a variety of professional and technical tasks in the assessment of participants needs,coordination of supportive service providers and monitoring the provisionsof program services. Responsible for the generation of revenue for agencyprogram services by timely submission of well-researched, well written andwell-documented fund raising proposals. Maintains, develops and nurturespartnerships/relationships with social services providers, local businesses/organizations, and local, state and federal program contacts in an effort to build and support agency program in tiatives. A Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or other closely related field and 5 years of progressively responsible program management, grant funding, social services, community services and /or housing related work or closely related responsibilities.
